Ava Hebensperger named to 2025 Slow Pitch All-State Team

Guthrie senior Ava Hebensperger has earned a spot on the prestigious 2025 Slow Pitch All-State Team for Class 5A Large West, marking another milestone in her standout athletic career.

This latest honor comes on the heels of her 2024 Fastpitch All-State selection, making her only the second player in Lady Jays history to be named to both All-State teams.

During the fall season, Hebensperger, a member of the National Honor Society, was named the district’s offensive player of the year, and this spring was named the team’s most valuable player.

She plans to continue playing softball at Rose State.

Hebensperger’s consistency, leadership, and impact on the field have played a crucial role in the success of the Guthrie softball program. Known for her dedication and performance under pressure, Ava has become a role model for younger athletes and a source of pride for the entire Guthrie community.

As she prepares to compete in the All-State game this June, Hebensperger carries with her not only her athletic skill but also the unwavering support of her coaches, teammates, and fans.
