Bo Robbins commits to Air Force golf program

For months now, Air Force has been patiently waiting to hear from Guthrie High School senior Bo Robbins. They got their message on Monday.

On his Instagram page, Robbins, who ranks at the top of his class in academics, announced he plans to play college golf for the Air Force Academy in Colorado.

All verbal commitments are non-binding. Robbins can officially sign with the Falcons as early as December.

“I wanna say thanks to my family, teammates, and coaches for being there every step of my journey,” Robbins said. “Excited to say that I have verbally committed to play Division 1 golf and attend the United States Air Force Academy in 2020. #gofalcons

Robbins, the son of Seth and Melynn Robbins, has helped lead the Guthrie golf team to back-to-back 5A state championships, including the lowest score of the 5A state tournament to help secure the second championship.
