By now all Logan County homeowners should have received their 2021 taxpayer statements through the mail. Logan County Treasurer Sherri Longnecker announced the deadline for half payments have now been extended into January.
First half tax payments are due by Jan 14, 2022 instead at the end of 2021. Longnecker added that no half payments will be accepted after Jan 14. Penalty will be assessed on Jan 16 for full payments.
The office will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 23 and Friday, Dec. 24 in observance of Christmas. The office will again close on Friday, Dec. 31 in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.
A payment drop box is available in front of the courthouse. The treasurer’s office will honor post mark dates and offer online payments at https://oktaxrolls.com/county/Logan
