The City of Crescent is having a 10-day amnesty period for unpaid tickets from September 11 through September 21. During this time, the City will waive all failure to appear, pay and comply fees attached to citations that are unpaid. The failure to appear (FTA) fee is usually 300 dollars.
“We encourage anyone who has unpaid tickets, or anyone who has fallen behind on payment agreements, to get it paid,” a Crescent spokesperson said.
After 3 p.m. on September 21, the Crescent Police Department will be reviewing the list of unpaid citations and arrest warrants will be issued. The department will be actively pursuing individuals who fail to take advantage of this opportunity.
Citations can be paid in person, by mail, over the phone or online.
