With more details to soon follow, the downtown sidewalk project will start next month.
The ADA-compliant sidewalk project, set to begin on March 4, will add and replace sidewalks throughout downtown on both the east and west sides. The project will run from Cleveland Ave. to Vilas Ave.

ODOT says the streetscape project will consist of doing some decorative brickwork and repaving/rebricking the ramps to be ADA-compliant.
In November, Ellsworth Construction, based in Tulsa, was awarded the contract for $1,068,600.
The project is expected to take 120 calendar days to complete, weather permitting.
