The Dr. Phil Show will discuss a crime spree that took place in Texas and Oklahoma, including Guthrie, on an upcoming episode.
Producers of the show tell Guthrie News Page the episode will focus on Alexis Nugent, who is currently awaiting her sentencing for a robbery spree in Oklahoma along with her boyfriend Lawrence Lewis.
Investigators said the 30-year-old Lewis and 23-year Nugent began their crime spree in Northern Texas with a pursuit, then stole a vehicle and made their way to Oklahoma. Once the pair made their way to Ardmore, they stole another vehicle and drove up to Deer Creek where they committed an armed robbery.
Later, Lewis was seen on surveillance video robbing the Dollar General Store in Logan County (Waterloo Road and Coltrane) on Sept. 7 with a handgun.
Afterwards, Lewis and Nugent led local authorities on a vehicle pursuit with speeds reaching 110 mph before a pit maneuver on I-35 was performed by a highway trooper. Related article: Man robs dollar store at gun point, leads officers on pursuit
Nugent, the passenger, was arrested on the highway following the crash, but Lewis took off on foot and would not be found until two days later inside a home. Related article: Video: Homeowner keeps armed robbery suspect held at gun point; now in custody

Alexis tells Dr. Phil about her past drug problems and the rape she endured as a teenager. Those events have hurt Alexis as she has spiraled out of control, while trying to find a correct path to adulthood.
The episode was produced on Tuesday, Nov 5, including photos and videos from Guthrie News Page.
The show is set to air on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. on CBS.
