  1. The citizens of Guthrie need to be aware that this election is very important. Not only can we elect a State Senator from Guthrie, we need to make sure that those running for school board, actually care about improving our schools. There appears to be a concerted effort by 2 candidates who are seeking a seat on the school board to undermine our district. If what their supporters are saying is true, their purpose is not to improve but prevent any improvement that might cost money. This is not the answer. Please support those people who have been out there working to make a difference. Please make sure to vote for AJ Griffin for State Senate, and Mark Swartzbaugh and Jerry Welch for our School Board.
