Guthrie head football coach Kelly Beeby announced the freshmen football team has been added to an upcoming scrimmage in Kingfisher.
The scrimmage is set for Thursday, Aug. 25 in Kingfisher.
The seventh grade team will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by the eighth grade team. The freshmen will then take the field to complete the scrimmage at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Kingfisher will feed all teams at the field.
Due to the varsity team playing zero week on Aug. 26, the freshmen needed a second scrimmage to prepare for their season opener on Aug. 29 in Enid.
