The television camera’s are coming back to Jelsma Stadium for the Week 8 match-up between the Jays and El Reno Indians. Both programs made the state semi-finals in 2009.

The game will be broadcasted by KSBI-TV and is set for Friday, October 22nd, and will be Senior Night for the Jays.

Last season El Reno spoiled the Jays Homecoming, in Week 2 last season, 18-0. Prior to that game, Guthrie had won eight straight over the Indians during the Rafe Watkins era. The 18-0 loss was the first time the Jays had been shut out since the first round of the 2003 playoffs when Guthrie traveled too and lost to Ardmore 20-0.

Guthrie is 7-3 all-time when playing on TV.

All Guthrie Football games can be heard on Triple Play Sports Radio 105.1 FM and streamed live world wide on Guthrie Sports Page. This will mark the ninth straight season to air the Jays on the radio.
