The 2011 Guthrie football season has been an emotionial, but a successful season and the Guthrie Football Booster Club is inviting the public to help celebrate the season.
This Friday, following the Class 5A State Championship game beginning at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Booster Club will host an End of Season Celebration for the BlueJay Football Team.
The club will be serving cake and hot chocolate in the high school cafeteria so that the Guthrie fans can celebrate a terrific season provided to them by a terrific group of young men.
The Booster Club wants all Guthrie fans, who stayed in town for the day to come and join in at least the end portion of the activities as well as those who have braved the Oklahoma wind at Boone Pickens Stadium.
