It’s no small task in going undefeated in high school football, but that is exactly what Guthrie and Lawton MacArthur have done this 2011 season.
Guthrie will look for state championship No. 3 while Lawton Mac aims for No. 1 in school history.
The BlueJays have averaged 41 points a game this season while allowing just 8.3 points per game. The Highlanders have been just as impressive by scoring 43 points a game and allowing only 12 per game.
Both teams were 7-0 at home, 5-0 on the road and 1-0 on neutral fields (Mac does share Cameron Stadium with the two other Lawton schools).
Guthrie Sports Page takes a look how these two teams made it to the finals with perfect 13-0 records.
