The Guthrie Police Department fielded over 25,000 radio calls in 2015. The department released their numbers for the past year.
The department officially took 25,505 radio calls, including 2,285 animal calls and 1,585 911 calls.
In total, 4,270 traffic stops were completed with either a citation or written warning. Officers handed down 2,207 citations and 2,063 warnings. The citations totaled $385,158.24. At last count, $297,428.61 was collected.
Of the citations, 683 were issued for driving 5 to 10 mph over the speed limit and 226 for driving between 11-15 mph over the limit. Motorists were issued 380 citations for no insurance verification.
Officers worked 260 accidents with 35 injuries and three fatality.
The department booked 462 people into jail, including 338 males and 124 females.
