Guthrie Public Schools announced their site teachers of the year for the 2022-23 school year.
At the elementary sites, second-grade teacher Sherryl Green was selected for Fogarty Elementary, third-grade teacher Kelly Wells at Cotteral Elementary, special education teacher Harley Lovato from Central Elementary, and Charter Oak Elementary librarian Genie Myers.
At the secondary sites, math interventionist Keith Blackston was selected for Guthrie Upper Elementary School, forensic science teacher Tina Ogle from Guthrie Junior High School, and both Kyri Hester, freshmen and sophomore English, and Clay Drake, agriculture education teacher, from Guthrie High School.
In February, the district will announce their elementary, secondary, and district teacher of the year. The district winner will advance and compete for the teacher of the year in Oklahoma.
