After missing five days of in-school instruction due to October’s ice storm, students at Guthrie Public Schools will return back to the classroom on Tuesday.
GPS will resume classes on Tuesday November 3rd at the normal time.
“We want to express our gratitude to the staff at OG&E and CREC as they continue gradually bring our power back across the region,” Superintendent Dr. Mike Simpson said.
The school district said students attending Faver Alternative School should report to the library at Guthrie High School where they will receive further instructions.
All buildings with the exception of Faver now have power.
Meals will be served as normal.
