Work has officially begun for the restoration of the Historic Water Treatment Plant on South Division.
The restoration will be for the partial exterior of the Guthrie Waterworks building (1111 S. Division) that was built-in 1893. It will be a joint effort between the City, Logan County Historical Society and private donors.
Bids for the project were taken at the City of Guthrie. View Photo Gallery
“We are looking at renovating some of the exterior problems with a new roof, repair bricks, fix broken windows and paint are the things on this list,” City Manager Matt Mueller said.
