The sales tax numbers are in and the new year is off to a great start for the City of Guthrie.
The sales tax deposit this month was $325,290. The amount is an increase of 2.29% over the $318,007 that was collected for the same month in 2011.
“Our monthly average for the year is $325,959 and we must maintain a $305,000 average to meet budgeted revenues,” City Manager Matt Mueller said.
