JROTC battalion commander Alexis Prince prepares for next step after graduation

Leadership, discipline, and service have defined the high school career of Lieutenant Colonel Alexis Prince, who currently serves as the Guthrie High School JROTC Battalion Commander, overseeing the overall supervision and command of the battalion.

Prince has been involved in JROTC for four years and also spent one year attending Meridian Technology Center, building a foundation of leadership and technical training alongside her military science experience.

Following graduation, Prince will continue her service by enlisting in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. After completing her initial training, she plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma, where she will pursue a bachelor’s degree and work toward earning her commission as an Army officer through the ROTC program.

Her instructors and peers note her commitment to leadership within the battalion, as well as her dedication to continuing her military and academic journey beyond high school.
