Just before the end of the half, Guthrie found the north end zone when quarterback Dalton Graybeal spotted a streaking Ty Doolin for a 25 yard score to go up 14-0 and Davis ran the ball in on the two-point conversion to go up 16-0.

Shawnee put back-to-back touchdown drives together to pull within two points, 16-12, by the end of the third quarter.

Guthrie was able to go back up by double digits, 24-12, on an impressive 54-yard run by Davis and a two-point conversion by Doolin, but Shawnee responded three minutes later to pull back within striking distance at 24-20.

However less than two minutes later, Davis added a 55-yard touchdown run to his resume with 2:54 left in the game. Doolin finished the scoring with the two-point conversion score.
