Junior high tennis teams fare well at conference tournament

The Guthrie Junior High School tennis teams placed high at the Suburban Conference tournament on Monday.

Lindsey Devereaux won a championship medal in number one singles action.

Also coming away with a championship was the number one doubles team of Carson Olmstead and Isaiah Dearman.

“It was a great day even with the windy conditions,” head coach Shelley Berryman said.

Next, the Guthrie program will host their own tournament on Thursday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.
