The junior, who will likely be a pre-season first team candidate for the 2015 season, finished with 117 tackles and is now preparing for the Tiger’s bowl game.

Brothers led the Tigers with a career high 117 tackles and is the most stops for a Missouri linebacker since 2008. His career best in tackles came just this past week in the SEC Championship game against Alabama with 14.

Brothers was fifth in the SEC in tackles, but second overall with the SEC title game.

Missouri is set to play Minnesota in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. The game will be on Jan. 1 on ABC and set for a noon start.

For the BlueJays, Brothers finished with 286 tackles and 51 sacks in his three-year career. Brothers, a 2011 GHS graduate, is the only BlueJay in school history to collect over 1,000 yards receiving. He finished with 1,122 in 2009 and 1,304 in 2010.
