KFOR surprises Jennifer Bozarth with Pay It 4Ward honor

Last week Jennifer Bozarth was in her downtown office when all of a sudden a cameraman, reporter and several friends and family members came walking in. You can imagine the surprise and startling look.

Each week KFOR spotlights people who have overcome a situation in their life, or like Bozarth, someone who simply goes above and beyond for others. Each recipient is presented with $400 in cash.

Bozarth, a mortgage broker, was nominated by Johnny Coleman, who helped the tv crew with the presentation. Together, Bozarth and Coleman launched ‘Vision Farm’ three years ago and this year hope to grown 10,000 pounds of food this season.

“Jennifer, you’re the only person I know, in my 65 years, that gets up every day for everyone else,” Coleman said. “You don’t get up for you to worship money. You get up for everyone else. I want to give you $400 to further anything you desire.”

The land for Vision Farms was donated and allows the group to plant and harvest plants. From there, the food is donated to local food banks and charitable events, including Brunch and Lunch on Noble – a free lunch for those who are in need of a meal.

Of course, Bozarth has plans for the four crisp $100 bills. She plans to pay it forward and continue to invest in Vision Farms.
