Langston University receives $1.45 million gift

Langston University recently received the largest donation to date and will help fund scholarships toward the Accounting Department as well as fund projects campus-wide.

LangstonONEOK pledged nearly $1.5 million to Langston University.

“We are incredibly thankful to ONEOK for the generous gift and the continuous support to our students,”  President of Langston University Kent J. Smith, Jr. told the Media Relations Department.

“ONEOK is Langston University’s largest supporter, and its gift will make a huge impact on the lives of our students and will continue assisting Langston on our journey to becoming a competitor in our ever-growing economy.”

  1. Thanks to HB2643 they are probably taking advantage of a $362,500 Oklahoma Tax credit assuming they split the $1.45M into 3 equal payments…. Any additional companies want to step up and donated to Guthrie Public Schools to take advantage of these credits and help out our kids too? I am sure that Steve Hannah will be happy to show you how through the School Foundation.
