LCSO deputy involved in non-injury accident overnight

A Logan County deputy was involved in a non-injury accident early Friday morning.

The two-vehicle accident occurred west of Langston University on Highway 33 just after 4 a.m.

According to Sheriff Damon Devereaux, a deputy was attempting to change lanes and did not see the vehicle (a Buick) beside them causing the impact.

There were no injuries and medical was not needed.

The deputy, who is going through field training, was driving along with a supervisor.

The police cruiser suffered front end damage and was towed from the scene.

The Buick suffered minor damage.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol worked the accident.
