Logan County launches new emergency notification system

Logan County has partnered with CivicReady to provide an emergency notification system to residents.  This system allows residents to subscribe to receive weather notifications directly from NOAA by telephone, email or text message.

With today’s technology and most people within inches of their cellphone at all times, this system provides constant weather awareness.

The CivicReady system also provides Logan County the ability to issue emergency alerts to all telephone numbers in the E911 system.  An additional benefit to the county, first responders and residents is the ability to issue a notification to a specific area that may have an emergency situation.

The Notify Me system is still available to residents who want to enroll to receive notifications of new agendas, minutes, news or other notifications issued by Logan County.

To sign up for notifications visit LoganCountyOK.com, select Sign Up for Notifications.
