Logan County man leads deputies on pursuit and ends in downtown Edmond

Deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an Edmond residence for a violent person call on Wednesday. As the deputy arrived, the person took off in a vehicle and the pursuit was on.

Just after 11 a.m., deputies were called out to 2001 Silvercrest Drive , in southern Logan County, for the possible intoxicated person. Once at the residence, Jymie P. Fullerton, 43, took off at a high rate of speed.

The pursuit traveled through southern Logan County and into the city of Edmond. The pursued vehicle came to a stop due to traffic conditions at Broadway and 2nd Street in downtown Edmond.

Fulerton, who was charged with a felony eluding charge, was then taken into custody without any further incident. In addition, Fulerton could be facing domestic abuse charges. That case is currently being investigated.
