Update: Missing Crescent teen found safe

UPDATE 4:30 p.m. on Thursday  — The missing teen in Crescent has been found safe.

“I want to thank everyone for your help we wouldn’t have been able to find her without the support of everyone sharing,” a family member said.

A Crescent family is searching for Destiny Lynn McLean, who went missing sometime early Thursday morning. Destiny’s family says she has Type 1 diabetes and is dependent on her daily medicine.

In a Facebook post, the family says they woke up and did not find Destiny in the home.

“I don’t know if she has any of her insulin with her, so it is serious that we find her ASAP to make sure she gets her medication,” Carissa Wade-Hunter said in the post.

Destiny, 15, was last seen wearing a pink camo jacket, blue jeans and a pair of boots.
