The fun and excitement held in October at the annual Midwest Liftfest produced the largest amount of donations for a charity. The beneficiary this year is Make A Wish Oklahoma.

“We are elated to give this to you,” John Vance told representatives while holding a $21,535 donation check.

Megan Vance said, “We set a new record for our fundraising.”

Midwest Liftfest is a family event featuring off-road action, food trucks, music, kids’ inflatable carnival, kids’ e-bikes, special ride-along opportunities, raffle prizes, face painting, clowns, remote controlled car track, and other fun activities all behind John Vance Motors.

All the proceeds raised help provide hope for children with critical illnesses.

“This will provide three wishes for kids. We are really excited about that,” Megan Vance said.

“Guthrie community partners and Make-A-Wish Oklahoma began planning this event the first of the year,” said Madison Boyle, Make-A-Wish Development Officer. “We set a goal to raise enough money to grant wishes for ten ‘Wish Kids,’ with an average ‘Wish’ cost of $7,500 each. We were so pleased with the number of attendees from across the state, and the central U.S. region.”
