Music, classic cars and movie make up successful Red Brick Cruise

With the pandemic creating havoc for Red Brick Nights in 2020, organizers got creative just before the end of summer with the first ever Red Brick Cruise.

The event took place last Saturday evening as classic cars drove through downtown Guthrie to join the rest of the crowd at the Beacon Drive-In.

The drive-in was a packed, of course with all the safety and socially-distanced protocols for the outdoor entertainment) event that started with live music from Wood Willow and Levi Parham and ended with a showing of Grease.

Prairie Wolf Spirits partnered with Red Brick Nights to sponsor the free event with special cocktails for the night. Various local restaurants offered “Red Brick Cruise Specials” to pick up on the way there including 602 Bistro, Stacy’s Place, Stables, Rick’s, and Hoboken.

Tim’s Body Workz and Freddie Lomax helped organized the car cruise.
