Search warrant leaves 8 people arrested in Crescent

Updated on Jan. 30. 2018 — Seven suspects were formally arraigned on Tuesday afternoon and a warrant may be in the works for an eighth suspect. However, one suspect failed to appear inside the courtroom.

The seven suspects were arraigned on misdemeanor charges. They include:

Garrett Lee Stotts – 23 – Kingfisher

Jessica Geagley – 33 – Kingfisher

Ralph Marque Wilson – 45 – Crescent

Joshua Wayne Blevins – 38 – Bethany

Morgan Cook – 35 – Crescent

Jacqulyn Bette Mackenzie Evans – 32 – Crescent

Charles Hackney McBride Jr. – 32 – Oklahoma City

All were given future court dates and bonds ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.

Wilson failed to appear and a judge continued the case to April 5 with a bench warrant under advisement. Wilson pleaded guilty in 2011 to conspiracy to commit a felony and forgery in the second degree. He was charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug (methamphetamine and marijuana), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and knowingly concealing stolen property.

Blevins and Cook were charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug (methamphetamine and marijuana), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and knowingly concealing stolen property.

Stotts was charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug (methamphetamine and marijuana), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and attempted escape from arrest or detention.

Evans was charged with knowingly concealing stolen property, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of controlled drug (methamphetamine and marijuana).

Geagley was charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug (methamphetamine and marijuana) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

McBride Jr. was charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug (methamphetamine and marijuana) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

It was an early Saturday morning for several people after a search warrant was served inside a Crescent home. Along with eight people being arrested, other burglary cases were solved.

Before sunrise, law enforcement officers from the Crescent Police Department (CPD) and the Logan County Special Response Team served the search warrant in the 400 Block of E. Jefferson.

As officers entered the home one person attempted to flee, but was taken into custody by perimeter officers.

Another person was tased after they refused to get out of the vehicle.

This search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into narcotics and stolen property.

CPD says there were eight people arrested, including felony arrests, at the conclusion of the warrant.

Among the items seized include, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and stolen property from the residence.

The recovery of stolen items resulted in three burglary cases being closed, according to law officials.

  1. I got my property stolen by these people.. but was lucky enough to get the most important things back. so glad they got what they disserve. hope they stay in jail for awhile. we don’t need these kind of people around are town or kids..
