Truck hits utility wires; customers without power

Update — Power was restored shortly before 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

8:30 p.m. — Crews on the scene say power may not be restored until late this evening and possibly Tuesday morning. An out-of-town furniture company’s truck struck the utility wires causing the utility poles to collapse.

Cox services have also been interrupted in the area.

6:35 p.m. — OG&E is reporting 84 Guthrie customers are without power after a semi-truck ran into a utility pole near Foster Rd and Tara Lane at 4:52 p.m.
