The suspect believe to have led Logan County deputies in a high-speed pursuit and slamming into a home earlier this week has been arrested.
Early Thursday morning, deputies took Alex Cardoza into custody from inside a residence.
Cardoza is the lone suspect that reportedly took deputies along in a vehicle pursuit going over 110 mph throughout the southern portion of the county. Related article: VIDEO: Police chase over 100 mph ends with car slamming into home
The chase ended after the Jeep Patriot veered off the road and into a home. Afterwards, a short foot pursuit encountered before the suspect was able to get away.
Cardoza,23, is believed to have hidden inside a home as police searched the area.
He’s expected to be formally charged next week in district court.
