Three vehicles stolen over night from Guthrie auto shop

Update on June 9 at 8:30 p.m. – GPD confirms all five vehicles, that were stolen, have been recovered. 3 people have been detained, one person arrested and a runaway female released to Blanchard police.

This final stolen vehicle recovered was located at Hwy 74 and 33 with four individuals inside.

The Guthrie Police Department has recovered one of the three stolen vehicles taken overnight from a downtown auto shop.

Officers said in the early morning hours the three vehicles were stolen from Short’s Service Center, located at 101 E. Harrison.

The first vehicle was reported stolen at 2:30 Monday morning.

The set of keys to the three vehicles (Ford Mustang, Ford Fusion and a Dodge truck) were stolen from inside the building.

So far, the Mustang vehicle has been recovered after being found in an alley on Cedar St. between Harrison Ave. and Vilas St. at around 2 p.m. The car was found locked and the keys taken.

Officers continue to investigate and ask if you have any information regarding this case to please call 282-3535.

  1. Can you please release the info regarding the 2 vehicles not recovered. Such as license plate number etc. this could help recover them. I own the truck that was stolen, I want it back.
