Two families were struck with heartbreaking news Thursday morning following a crash in Logan County.
Just before 8:30 a.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed two people were killed after the crash on Highway 74 near Cimmaron Blvd.
OHP identified the drivers as 82-year-old David Rout from Crescent and 28-year-old McKenzie Moore from Cashion. Both people were pronounced dead on the scene.
A witness at the scene said they were told Moore had just dropped off her child at school and was headed back home.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, according to OHP.
