Due to weather predictions for rain and snow on Tuesday, Feb. 12, the company which will deliver prefabricated sections for the bridge on University requested we change the date for installation. Previously we had announced this as February 13. After conferring with the company which will provide the crane, we have rescheduled the work for Tuesday, February 19.
Plans are to bring the crane to the job site on Monday, February 18. Work to place the sections will begin the following morning at 8:00 a.m. and should be finished by mid-afternoon. There will be five 15 to 20 minute time periods during this process on the 19th when the low water crossing will be closed to traffic.
