Updated on Sunday, October 21 at 5 p.m.

The Guthrie Police Department has released additional information on Saturday’s drive by shooting on Guthrie’s west side of town.

At approximately 7:18 p.m., a 911 call was received reporting the drive-by shooting in the 100 block of Apollo Pl.

Sgt. Jeremy Thorne tells Guthrie News Page the caller said a black Dodge Charger, with multiple male passengers, was seen leaving the scene.

Officers, while en route to the call, saw a vehicle matching that description in the 500 block W. Noble Ave.

Guthrie police officers, with assistance of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle and detained three adult males and one juvenile male. Officers reported seeing shell casings inside the vehicle and a bullet hole in the spoiler on the trunk.

At the scene of the drive-by shooting (see video below this article), officers discovered numerous shell casings on the roadway and two vehicles, parked in front of the residence, with bullet holes. Bullet holes were also discovered in the side of the house.

The family inside reported no injuries, but one family member said they believed this was related to another family member that had assisted with a drug deal gone bad.

After completing the investigation, officers arrested three Stillwater 18-year-olds, including Ronnie Ray Boyd, Jr., (left), Jaylen Rashad Mitchell (centered) and Thomas Wade Willard (right) and a juvenile (17-years-old male) from the black Dodge Charger.

Two handguns, believed to be used in the drive-by shooting, were recovered with bullet casings consistent with those discovered at the scene.

Inside the vehicle and on the person of the arrestees officers discovered 3.8 grams of marijuana and multiple pills, believed to be ecstasy.

The young adults were arrested with multiple counts including willfully discharging a firearm into a dwelling, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of marijuana.
