A camp fire on Sunday evening turned into a resident’s fence catching fire on Monday afternoon.
The Guthrie Fire Department were dispatched to a fire in the back yard of a residence at the intersection of Pine and Grant streets at around 3 p.m.
Fire officials said the residence had a camp fire and did not put it out completely causing it to reignite. The fire spread to a nearby privacy fence and burning a portion of it.
Firefighters just needed seconds to get extinguish the flames to keep them from spreading to the home.
The City of Guthrie remains in a city-wide burn ban.
