Watch: Bradley Walls named GPS Student of the Month

Bradley Walls willingness to help his classmates is in part why he was named the Student of the Month for Guthrie Public Schools.

Walls is a seventh grade student at Guthrie Junior High School and was nominated by his teacher Tina Ogle for his humility.

“Bradley is an exceptional young man that is always looking for ways to help others,” Ogle said.

Ogle says Bradley helped a student who just joined their classroom after the start of school and showed the student to her classes since she was not familiar with the school.

“I appreciate Bradley’s willingness to help others and put other people’s needs before his own,” Ogle said.

Bradley was presented by Blake Wimsey with Foundation Insurance at Monday night’s Board of Education meeting.

GPS and Wimsey (pictured left) have teamed up for the fourth straight year to honor students for the character traits. Teachers and faculty select students who have displayed behavior deserving of recognition.

For Bradley’s efforts, he was presented with a $65 gift card to Stacy’s Place.
