Zach Henry represents Guthrie at all-star baseball game

Zach Henry stands with Head Coach Terry Bennett at the annual all-star game in Oklahoma City.

Guthrie High School senior Zach Henry wore his Bluejay uniform one last time and took advantage at the Oklahoma City Area Baseball Coaches Association (OCABCA) All-Star Game.

The OCABCA is an organization composed of Central Oklahoma high schools –– only the schools in the area were considered for the competition.

Henry played all nine innings at shortstop and went 2-3 at the plate with two runs scored on the home turf of Putnam City High School.

The two runs scored by Henry were the only two for his North squad as they tied the South 2-2.

Henry led the Jays in several offensive categories to help his team to 23 victories.

Fellow seniors Wily Clymer, Carson Wilder and Cale Evans were nominees for the game.
