Its Groundhog Day! Well, not quite yet, but its lurking and the First United Methodist Church is set to celebrate by satisfying your taste buds.
The annual Groundhog Dinner hosted by the church is set for February 2nd at the Logan County Fairgrounds. Along with lunch and/or dinner, a silent auction will be held.
The menu includes homemade sausage, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, green beans, cole slaw, drinks and desserts.
The church is offering serving times of 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Take out’s are welcomed as are deliveries. You’re asked to call after 9 am at (405) 282-0926.
Advanced tickets are $8 and $9 at the door for adults while advanced kid prices (10-and-under) are $4 and $5 at the door. To purchase advanced tickets call the church office (405) 282-4297.
All proceeds will go toward church projects at First United Methodist Church.
Groundhog Dinner has became a comunity tradition . This is a exciting time for our church family to come together in a labor of love and opportunity to raise money but most importantly showing love and accepting for everyone that walks in.
