After nearly a decade of service to the Guthrie community, Andrew Collier is stepping into a new leadership role with the Guthrie Fire Department.
The department recently announced the promotion of Collier to the rank of lieutenant. A member of the department for the past nine years, Collier has served the community not only as a firefighter but also as a paramedic, providing critical care and emergency services to residents throughout Guthrie and Logan County.
According to the department, Collier has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to public service throughout his career.
In his new role, Collier will serve as the Lieutenant on Blue Shift, where department leaders say they are confident he will continue to lead by example and positively impact both the department and the community.
“There is no doubt in our minds that he will excel in this new leadership role,” the department stated in announcing the promotion.
The Guthrie Fire Department congratulated Collier on his well-earned promotion and expressed excitement for his continued success as he begins this next chapter in his career.
