Guthrie Tennis dominates Claremore Tournament with first-place finishes

It was a championship day for Guthrie Tennis at the Claremore Invitational, as the Lady Jays swept the competition to capture first place across the board.

Leading the way for the girls’ team, Aspen Mitchell and Rylee Tobin took first place at No. 1 doubles, Lola Brown won first at No. 1 singles, Kenzie Hardesty secured first at No. 2 singles, and Hollie Mitchell and Haven Hudson grabbed first at No. 2 doubles.

The dominant performance earned Guthrie the overall girls’ championship at the tournament.

The boys’ team also made a strong showing. Jaxson Mayer and Carson Olmsted claimed first place at No. 1 doubles, while Isaiah Dearman finished as runner-up in No. 1 singles.

It was a standout day for Guthrie Tennis as both teams continue to build momentum heading into the postseason.
