LCSO deputies awarded, honored at Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association Awards Banquet

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office was well represented over the weekend at the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association Awards Banquet. In total, five deputies were presented with awards, including two fallen LCSO deputies.

The families of David Wade and Jason Wright were presented the Sheriffs’ Cross in their honor. Both men died while serving on duty.

Deputy Jordan Crawford received a Life Saving Award for his heroic actions this past March when he saved a man trapped in a vehicle submerged in water.

Deputy Randy Drew received the Reserve Deputy of the Year Award.

“He has been dedicated and loyal to the Office since 2006,” Undersheriff Troy Dykes said.

Drew, who has put in several hours in his 11 years, serves as an Assistant Commander of the Reserve Unit and a mentor to the team.

Sgt. Greg Randolph received the Recognition Award. He serves as the Commander of the Reserve Unit and a Patrol supervisor.

“His professional efforts in organizing and overseeing operations of wild life expos and the Little Britches rodeo are tremendous,” Dykes added.

Several members of the Sheriff’s Office was in attendance to support their counterparts inside the Reed Center in Midwest City.

“Simply amazing crew we have,” Sgt. Marcus Williams said.
