Guthrie senior McCandren Lewis shot a 74 and needed a playoff hole to win the Suburban Conference Golf Tournament on Tuesday.

Lewis’ final shot was a chip in for birdie to give her the win edging out Deer Creek’s Caroline Goodin at Cedar Valley.
Just last week, Lewis took second place at the Cushing Golf Tournament. In the same tournament, Tabitha Buck had a top 10 finish while taking 7th place.
This past winter, Lewis signed to play golf at Northeastern State University.
Deer Creek took the team title with a low score of 309. Guthrie finished fourth overall with a 386.
