Police hold lunch for local partners

Bookmark and Share

Despite mother nature’s attempt, the Guthrie Police Department held their lunch Friday afternoon for their partners in the community.

Police Chief Damon Devereaux served up some barbecue while others chipped in with the fixings and deserts. The chief (chef) had less than ideal cooking conditions in the early morning hours with wind and rain serving as obstacles.

Guthrie city staff, police officers, members of the district attorney’s office, American Red Cross, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations agents and Oklahoma Senator AJ Griffin was just some of the partners to take part in the lunch outside of the police station.

The police department thanked all of their partners in the community and expressed their gratitude for their service for the city of Guthrie.
