Update: Camron Williams was in the courtroom on Tuesday and is facing three charges, including forcible sodomy and two charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bond was set at $150,000.
A registered sex offender sits in the Logan County jail after he was found with a 14-year-old girl who says she was sexually assaulted overnight.
On Sunday, an officer with the Luther Police Department initiated a vehicle traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, Camron Williams, 28, was accompanied by the female juvenile, who told officers Williams sexually assaulted her in Logan County.
Deputies and investigators with the Sheriff’s Office traveled to Luther to investigate the allegations and found probable cause to arrest Williams for the charge of rape by instrumentation.
Williams, who has been a registered sex offender since Dec. 2011 after his conviction for second degree rape in Oklahoma City, will be arraigned on Tuesday inside a Logan County courtroom.
