The Guthrie Police Department and Oklahoma Highway Patrol combined forces on Saturday for a safety check point. The check point landed one arrest.

OHP Check PointOfficers and troopers stopped motorists on the Industrial Road loop to check for driver licenses and insurance verification.

While majority of the motorists were able to display their proper identification, others were detoured off the road and forced to find a ride. However, one person was not so lucky.

One driver was found to have a warrant for his arrest and had a suspended license dating back to 1995.

Guthrie officers have increased traffic control in response to an increase in complaints from citizens, supported by information gathered from Department of Transportation and City of Guthrie streets employees, who have observed and reported the violations. 1. DHS has pretty much militarized policy enforcers, the SCOTUS ruled the police have no obligation to protect us and their safety is more important than any other human being. I’m sure there was a fraud-dog, circling each victim, sniffing for money to steal. They’ll never tell us how much they steal through asset forfeiture. It’s all about generation of revenue for the corporate government monopoly and getting as many of us possible in the very profitable punishment system. Government has only violence and fear to get their booty. At the Nazi checkpoints, we proudly submit to each rights violation, since we never fear government unless we’re doing something wrong.

  2. I should mention that last comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek.
