A new director has been appointed for the Guthrie Edmond Regional Airport.
The City of Guthrie announced Schellon Stanley as the new director announced on Friday.
Stanley comes to the Guthrie airport after serving as the Airport Operations Officer at OU Westheimer Airport in Norman. In addition, Stanley has served as a Site Manger and instructor at Sooner Flight Academy also in Norman.
She has served in many positions on the board of the Oklahoma Airport Operators Association, including the office of President.
Stanley holds a Masters in Aerospace/Aviation Management from Oklahoma State University.
The position was vacated when Justin Heid announced he accepted a similar position in Shelbyville, Tenn. Related story: Heid announces final day in Guthrie; accepts out-of-state position
