Air bags deployed in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Division St.
Just after 1 p.m. Guthrie fire and police responded to Prairie Grove Road (3500 block of S. Division St.) for a reported accident with injury.
According to two witnesses, a white, four-door Escape SUV was driving southbound when it attempted to turn (left) east onto Prairie Grove, but in the process hit an oncoming maroon Honda CRV, which was traveling northbound on Division St.
Guthrie Police continue to investigate the crash.
Both of the vehicles air bags deployed on impact and were towed from the scene.
The northbound lanes were narrowed down to one, while police and fire cleared the roadway and worked the accident.
Guthrie EMS did not transport anyone from the scene.
Earlier in the morning, another two-vehicle crash occurred four blocks north on Division St. in the 3100 block. Related article: Teen suffers injuries in vehicle crash on Division St.
