Suspects caught on camera; LCSO reminding citizens to lock their vehicles

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents to keep their vehicles locked and that their security lights are properly working. This reminder comes after two suspects were caught on camera attempting to get into a vehicle. The Sheriff’s Office responded to the Cascata Falls Addition, in southern Logan County on Sunday morning after video surveillance captured two subjects attempting to break into a vehicle.

Lt. Marcus Williams said the resident had their doors locked and utilized his motion security lighting which scared off the subjects.

“It’s imperative to remember to lock your property, especially during this time of the year,” Williams said. “Don’t leave valuables in your vehicles. It’s unfortunate we have to do these things to protect what we all work so hard for.

The identity of the suspects is unknown, but if anyone knows any information, or can identify the suspects, the Sheriff’s Office is asking for your assistance.

Williams says the patrol division has increased patrols throughout the county.

“Please, don’t hesitate to report any suspicious activity to our office,” Williams said.
