This year the Guthrie Veterans Day Parade will be held on Friday, Nov. 9.
The parade will include the Guthrie High School Marching Band, Junior ROTC Marching Squadron, Young Marines Color Guard and more. The parade will start at 10:30 at the Oklahoma Territorial Museum on East Oklahoma Avenue and proceed west to Second Street and then south to Honor Park.
A short program recognizing and celebrating veterans will be held at Honor Park at approximately 10:50. Following the ceremony light refreshments and coffee will be served at the American Legion Hall, 123 N. First Street.
The public is invited to attend and celebrate the Nation’s veterans.
